When I was born I didn't have a name. My parents looked at me for a long time, and after a few days they decided to call me Isaac because it suited me. Isaac is a Hebrew word that means laughter, or "the laughing one". I haven't started laughing yet, but I plan to do a lot of it in the future. Isaac is a very popular name in Australia. My parents sometimes call me Zack for short.
They also gave me a middle name of Finian, which means fair, or handsome. When I was born I had black hair, so I may not be fair-headed, but my hair might change colour soon. Finian is an Irish Gaelic name, much like my surname Doyle, which means dark foreigner. You could say my parents are hedging their bets on the whole hair colour thing.
